Integrity Indonesia as one of the speakers at the 2021 Compass Online
On 19 June 2021, Integrity Indonesia had the opportunity to be one of the speakers at the 2021 Compass Online event organized by the Criminology Student Association, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Indonesia. The webinar had the theme “Route Expansion Towards Risk Management and State Ideological Practice” and was attended by representatives of the UI Criminology Department, namely the Head of the Criminology Study Program, Mrs. Mamik Sri Supatmi, the Head of the Criminology Department, Mrs. Ni Made Martini and the Program and Research Coordinator of the Legal Aid Institute, Albert Wirya Suryanata, who was also a speaker.
The representatives of PT Integrity Indonesia were Nancy Desianti (Head of Employment Background Screening) and Azhara Khayati (Production Manager of Employment Background Screening) who also participated as speakers at the event. The event was also attended by students of the Department of Criminology from the University of Indonesia, and several other universities.
The purpose of the webinar was to introduce students of the Department of Criminology about the prospects for Criminology graduates in the job market – both for profit and non-profit organizations.
The webinar’s sharing sessions were moderated by Mae Ria as the MC and Natal Rivaldo. The webinar was opened with remarks from the event committees, as well as by the Chair of the UI Criminology Undergraduate Study Program, Mrs. Mamik Sri Supatmi, and the Chair of the UI Criminology Department, Mrs. Ni Made Martini, which was then followed by a sharing session by the speakers.
Nancy Desianti explained about the services offered at PT Integrity Indonesia, job prospects, and how the employee candidate selection process works, starting from CV screening to interview tests.
“There are many opportunities for Criminology graduates to work at Integrity Indonesia. Our company’s main service was investigation, but this later developed into many services related to governance and compliance,” said Nancy.
“CV fraud is among the most common findings during the screening process. There are various kinds of fraud, for example, falsified diplomas, and exaggerated positions,” she continued.
Another equally important topic that was shared was Azhara Khayati’s career experience at Integrity Indonesia.
“I’ve worked at Integrity Indonesia for almost seven years. Since the beginning of my career, I have been background screening candidates, where my team and I verify the documents of our clients’ prospective hires. We ensure that the documents are valid and there are no findings in their track record. For example, in addition to ensuring qualifications, we ensure that candidates have never made hate speech comments or throw racist slurs on social media,” said Azhara.
The sharing session by PT Integrity Indonesia ended with a message from Nancy Desianti, which was then followed by a questions and answers session.
“We are very open to fellow students who want to carry out internships at Integrity Indonesia. In our opinion, it is very important to provide opportunities for young people to learn to work,” she concluded.
The 2021 Compass Online Event closed with a picture taking of the event by the participants.
